There is an etf if you are in a contract and you cancel completely but there is no etf if you just downgrade back in to the basic speed. |

| Good grief. I remember when they would charge you for the modem (which they gave you free) if you canceled early, but you had the option to return the modem to avoid that. But it has been almost 4 years since I had to deal with Verizon.
