I'm betting you'll see this only in areas where the cometition is either 1) Deploying advanced services or 2) Threatening to deploy said services.
Everywhere else will have to wait... a long, LONG time.

The only exception I might see to that is the extremely limited U-Verse FTTP deployments, but since AT&T has deliberately chosen not to even take advantage of their FTTP deployments I don't see that as a threat. Only 6/1 on FTTP? It's ridiculous, but it's that AT&T is doing. It's also why I won't buy anything from AT&T, except landline of course. Just a FYI, you can get 10/1.5 with AT&T now. I don't know what its like where you are, but U-Verse beats everything that Charter has in my area. The best speed we can get here is 5Mbps and that is if your lucky... | |
