I'm looking for 2 images,
First is a picture of a beach with the ocean, blue sky with some clouds and white sand. The perspective should have the palm tree on the left or right side of the image, and the photograph should be looking at the beach from a vertical angle meaning that the ocean and beach would be perpendicular to the horizon (I'm looking down the beach as opposed to at the ocean).
Second Picture is of a stand alone server cabinet, black, and if possible more than one lined up together. The photograph should be at an angle which shows the cabinets depth.
Yes, this is the same guy who made a post here a few months ago called "servers in paradise". Unfortunately, the images I used in that image are probably copyrighted. -- President/CEO - Pacy World - »www.pacyworld.com |

I think the licenses you could use are the following:
"Attribution License"
"Attribution-ShareAlike License"
Be sure to understand the ramifications if you do use an image licensed as such. (giving recognition to the author of the image(s) in your ad)
If you don't modify the image (which you seem to be implying you WILL be doing), you could also use the "Attribution NoDerivs" license.
If you want to try for a completely royalty free image, use "The Commons" on flickr. I believe these are completely copyright free (Public Domain)

well... nice concept, nice advice, nice samples.
but may i suggest don't?
servers on the sand, in the wind, in the salt spray, in a corrosive salt atmosphere, close to the waves and close to hurricane storm surges (17' for Andrew),
are each and all what we DONT want our web servers anywhere near.
perhaps an image of a tropical paradise mountaintop would be more appropriate? |
