Service Issue

This issue started saturday night.

My momdem will display all the lights, however the internet will no load. A quick power cycle of the modem and the modem can not come back online.

Called tech support they said an issue with the junction box outside.

Tech came out today, said samething, an issue outside.

It has been 4 days since the issue started for me, and my next door neighbor has been having the issue for a week now.

Does anyone have a phone number to someone at Comcast? I would love to give them an earfull.

Anyone know if I can charge back my payments from Comcast due to crappy service?

When I run a ping to www.comcast.net out of 1000 packets, roughly 5% of them drop.

You say a tech came out today. How did he leave it with you?
Was he getting a bad signal outside at the box?

Normally that should then be escalated to the line crew.

As far as credit goes..my experience has been that they'll credit you for your downtime. Once you've called in and reported it you have a time line to refer to until the issue is corrected.
