I am really tired of this piece of shit company. Once again having issues all they do it send out their lovely techs. This time around my internet has been going off and on for the last 3 days starting on saturday night where no connection could be made. The modem's "online" light keeps flashing. Called Comcast and they said the modem is bad which is funny cuz my neighbor next building over is having the same issue and they told him his modem is bad as well. Hope comcast burns down to the ground.
I would pull up my stats but unfortunately I am not using my own internet sigh...
Its more like the modem lights are on but there is no internet connection. |

Alright so while the connection is up let me rant.
I called Comcast and the phone tech told me there is a issue outside with one of the junction boxes but he wanted to send out a tech to my house to verify. Tech comes, does his thing and decides the issue is outside.
It has been 4 days since I called the issue in and NOTHING has been done. This is by far the worst company ever and the only reason I am still with them is because I have no other service provider. But as soon as ATT sets up shop here I will be gone the very first day.

| I also agree. I have had the same cable through my wall since they were @home 8 years ago. I guess I am one of the lucky few that have had little to no problems.
Only time I can remember was a service upgrade that didn't take and I had to have my modem re-provisioned by Comcast. Other than that, not bad. I have also added many friends and family members (as well as clients) to their service with the same results. They all dig it. 
Sorry you don't. But, you should be patient and keep barking up the support tree on getting that box checked out. And remember, be patient. Their people are only trying to do their jobs. Something to try: I have had better luck with the local call center number or getting the Canadian support center, they do rule there. |
