Re: [Serious] Wanted: owners for 1,500 stolen Toronto bicycles

there was a local place that sold higher end bikes here many years ago, and i suspected they were involved in some theft ring too.

i bought a higher end BMX Shogun bike (about $400) and it was stolen about a couple months after i bought it...shortly after, i replaced it with another higher end Norco (this time a mountain bike) and it was stolen at school.

i couldn't afford to buy these bikes any more so i purchased some Canadian Tire bike and had it for many years with no problems...i just found it odd that both bikes i purchased from the same store were stolen shortly after i bought them...i was only about 14 and both bikes were paid for out of my own pocket (it took me forever to save that kind of money) and we didn't have any insurance or anything so i was SOL when they were taken.
