Every 3 to 15 minutes the connection "dies" for 5-25 seconds. This is also noticeable when surfing for me however, as I will notice that if I attempt to access a page during a lag spike it gets no response and the browser times out.

Comcast tech is allegedly coming out tonight to check it out. In the interim I let a ping -t www.comcast.net run for 15 minutes last night and saw I am getting 13% packet loss, with the dropped packets occurring in succession of 6-9 in a row, marking times when the connection is dead. This will be even more noticeable while gaming and is seen in WoW as increased latency and repeated disconnects.
