| HBC Bay's Gift Registry website - FIRE THEM!
I can't believe how kooky and utterly crappy this website is.
Credit card info section has:
1. Visa/Amex/MC/HBC card dropdown - ok, I get it.
2. Blank box - I figure this is for me to enter the card #. This is open text box. MANDATORY to enter data.
3. Date drop down - I get this one.
4. Two blank text boxes - what the hell for? First one is MANDATORY.
5. Title box (Mr./Miss/Dr. etc etc) - I get this
6. Two blank text boxes. Both MANDATORY. I figure I enter my name into the first one.
7. Street address section - this is fine.
I have no idea on what to enter into the required fields on #4 and #6. Proceeding further produces an error gif where no error is specified.
Please tell me this website wasn't developed proudly in Canada! |

| reply to AR This is what I see.

Are you seeing the same? Your description above indicates some of what I see is missing from what you see.
Maybe the browser you are using is suppressing text in some fields. |

what's your browser? |

I used FF 3.01, but used the IETAB add-on to access it. Using straight FF with the noscript addon I had problems even after OKing Javascript for the HBC pages. So I just switched to an IE tab using the addon and everything displayed as seen above.
P.S. I accessed again just using straight IE7 and got this displayed:

exseven Premium join:2003-05-23 Stoney Creek, ON | reply to AR HBC gift registry is garbage... HBC items are over priced, the page listing description of items blows (a bunch of cryptic item names) , and you must go to a store to add anything. |
