Advanced Gmail Filters - Using Complex Labels

m021478 : I am trying to setup a filter that automatically forwards "All Mail" to a particular email address ~ with the one exception being any emails that have been automatically labeled (by Google, or one of my other filters) as "Spam" or "Trash"...

I can achieve these results by doing a search in the main Gmail window for the following:

label:all -{in:spam OR in:trash}

...but I am having a difficult time properly entering these criteria into the Filter creation fields? Not really sure why, but nonetheless, I cannot get it to work properly...

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated... Thanks!
