| reply to Dano 00TA Re: [Connectivity] Lose sync when using 1 splitter?
definitely try CT3's two suggestions, but to answer your question it appears that when you add the splitter your up tx goes too high. it's probably less than that 58 without the splitter. -- "Nothing in all the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity." | thats what mine is at right now, 51dBmV is within range , I would stick with the way you have it now but like tshirt said, monitor it and call a tech out just to be safe, he will probably replace the outside splitters with fresh ones and check your line signal at the box outside. |

| reply to Dano 00TA It will work, but remember that signals change up and down a few points due to weather changes, and plant adjustments. if you notice trouble again, you'll probably have to have a tech visit anyway. I'd watch (check 3 -4 times a day) the signal for a couple days. |

| Ok, I'll keep an eye on it till tomorrow before cancelling the visit and see what happens, since I used to lose sync a few times a day I guess I'll know by tomorrow if it's gonna be ok or not.
Thanks for all the help |

| Ok, I'll keep it and have them check it out. I would like to keep the bedroom tv w/o having to run a cable through the house(that's why I share it with the modem)
Thanks again. |

| They changed some of the pole to pole line, don't know how much but was told by the tech yesterday that it's rated at like 18yrs and was about 26yrs old. I'm sure they didn't change any amplifiers since I was told they were about 6k each and Gary, Indiana sure can't afford any |
