only gripe I have about the Sony PS3 remote is that its not backlit. With the controller knowing where Play and Select I can find as well as knowing where the other controls are without really looking. With the remote you'll need light to see what you are doing.

It is sturdy and feels much better in your hand than the PS2 remote ever did.
