Anyone had any experience with a connecting flight in Cleveland airport?
Reason I ask is that I only have a 30 min window to hop off my toronto-cleveland and catch my cleveland-vegas.
Im Travelling pretty light.... I know the last couple times I flew from Toronto to anywhere we where in a "traffic jam" on the runway waiting for our turn to take off....
I am Wondering if we are cutting it to close.... Any advice from frequent flyer's ??? |

Thats good to hear. I usually like to fly direct, but we didnt have much choice as the time we wanted to leave and how much we wanted to spend ($$) limited us to a connecting flight.
So if the flight is late and our connecting takes off before we land ... Do we have to wait around cleveland with stand by tickets waiting for the next flight? |

With airplane delays I've had 1.5 hour in-between flights and missed the connection.
If you have a time YOU HAVE TO BE at at a certain time... make buffer time if you can. |

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum is open 363 days a year, every day from 10 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
On Wednesdays, you can tour the Museum until 9 p.m.
Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Summer Hours: From Memorial Day (Saturday, May 24, 2008) through Labor Day (Saturday, August 30, 2008), the Museum is also open until 9 p.m. on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

I think AC, American, and Delta use Cleveland for some toronto flights.

We are catching a Continental flight, Embraer EMB-145 from Toronto to Cleveland, and then a Boeing 757 from Cleveland to Vegas.
It say's that the Toronto to Cleveland is operated by CHAUTAUQUA AIRLINES INC DBA CO. I imagine that is simular to how Air Canada / Air Canada Jazz are setup....?
Anyways, Continental has my money =-) |

If you listen to ATC for YYZ, you'll hear "Chautauqua" calls quite often. They operate as regional subsidiary for several airlines including American, United, Continental, Delta and US Airways (link).

Only connection I've ever had in Cleveland was also for a Continental flight and our departing flight was delayed 2 hours because the flight crew wasn't cleared to fly in Canada so they had to fly in a different crew from Memphis. |
