| [Connectivity] No Go Daddy Access from South Jersey
Once again Comcast has, it seems, blocked access to Go Daddy and sites hosted there.
Tech support suggested parental controls, then antivirus, then dns were the cause. After I explained I could VPN to other sites and reach Go Daddy on Cablevison and Verizon facilities the story changed to "Engineering" is working on the problem.
Go Comcast!!! |

@comcast.net | reply to paulnj I can't see GoDaddy. And all the Comcast users of my service (for which GoDaddy is the registrar and DNS host) are down. All non-Comcast users are fine. |

@comcast.net | reply to paulnj They must have resolved.
Of course Comcast did not answer my call. Once when they had a peering problem, I was on hold for more than two hours - until I got the automated drop. |

The issue was due to overwhelming traffic due to .me open registration taking out their servers. |

| reply to paulnj It's only fair that Comcast should block GoDaddy as GoDaddy blocks Comcast repeatedly. I can't have a URL to my home page in my emails because GoDaddy blocks emails with references to Comcast servers!
I spent months going around with this with them and they claimed the server was on a blacklist they use but it had been taken off months earlier and they finally removed it and promised it wouldn't happan again but a month later, it was back on their blacklist and they now won't even reply to emails! |
