Vista RTM join:2006-09-13 ChilliwackBC edit: July 15th, @10:34PM	No internet? Try this! I recently sold a computer to a Shaw customer. He got home and had no internet access. Puzzled, I offered to go over and fix it. After seeing he had installed a Shaw CD and uninstalled the firewall, I asked him, "who said to do that?" He replied, "Shaw" So I fired up windows firewall and stared looking around. I finally found what it was. The network adapter was set to 100Mbps and the Shaw modem seems to ONLY work on AUTO. I flipped it to AUTO and that was it, fixed. He was ready to format the computer........ Just a word for the wise. This is the same on your routers too, it must be set to AUTO.
