I gave it a shot on my 1811 last night, it still has tons of problems. QoS and the dns server were both broken for me. How long has 12.4T been in development now, is there any end in sight? I just want some stable software for my router for once, and I'm starting to think they outsourced IOS to linksys. |

Each release of the ED (early deployment) SW brings new features along with bug fixes of older features. If you want reliability you'll run a mainline or a GD release. |

Similarly, I've had reasonable luck with QoS over DSL for VoIP (SIP). Details, man, details.
If you have a smartnet contract, future IOS quality is in your hands. 12.4(15)T was originally to have been the last 12.4T version before 12.5 came into being. The way things are looking now, it might be a long time before we see a new mainline. Open a service request and complain that your application scenario is broken. |
