If you're the one uploading files all the time then why aren't you using a collectors account and gaining points for your uploads? That way, you could generate points for free premium accounts every month and not have to deal with the slow speeds.

As for mediafire.. yeah, why would anyone want to use that? Just to be nice? No, things don't work like that. With rapidshare, uploaders have an incentive to host there. That just sucks. I imagine there will be an outcry because there are a lot of people who rely on the free users for downloads to get their rapidshare points.
