Re: Wireless speeds by the purple orchid

Wireless Technical Support stated that down load speeds were 300 - 700 kps and that up load speeds were 80 - 120.

With Windows Vista a "patch" needs to be down loaded. We first need to determine if we are either:

32 b vista or 64 b vista

In the future I can get a smart phone... I have to wait until I am within 3 months of my cell phone contract or the smart phone upgrade will cost me $500.00. So if you need a smart phone, get it at the get-go !!!

Also, for my lap top I can get what is called "thering" to use while I travel, so that I may use my lap top and access my internet.

I hope that by sharing I have been of some help. I haven't tried these things yet, so I can't reccomend them. Let me know if any of you have more information to add, positive or negative about "wireless" or any other option. the purple orchid.
