| reply to R0CKY I hate to say it, but this "tournament" was sort of retarded.
Not many people were involved, and there was only around 2 or 3 people in the server when I'd be there, and they'd always end up leaving after a map or two.
A notice should have been sent out to all TSI customers, we would have had more players and a wider range of skills to compete against.
I don't know.. I can't say I had much fun, really. |

| reply to R0CKY Next time can you please do Call of Duty 4?
That game is at least (a) popular and (b) current.
Your game selection so far leads me to think the next tournament will be Pong.
If you do set up the server for CoD4, you should consider leaving it up permanently if it proves to be popular. |

| reply to R0CKY It may be just me, but a Pong Tourny sounds awesome. hehe
I love playing Old Arcade Games I even bought a X Arcade Duel setup from Xgaming to play at home with friends while maintaining the arcade feel.
Here is a link if anyone been looking for a good setup for Arcades on comp or TV with friends

Wow....You had very little fun....You thought the tournament was "retarded", I don't see any positive comments at all..........Yet you played on the server MORE THAN ANYONE, and won $750...Geesh |

| reply to BobLoblaw Yeah it really wasn't as organized as the first one even. The only way people knew about it was from these forums.
I know you guys have been super busy with all the things going on, and that the tournament even got pushed back. Its appreciated, but a mass e-mail is totally necessary :P |

| reply to R0CKY Big congrats to BobLoblaw. Played with him a few times, and definitely deserving of #1.
And while I do agree with some of his statements, I don't want to seem ungrateful. When people were playing, I did enjoy it, and TekSavvy deserves a big thanks for hosting. I'm hoping they leave the server up for a bit too. Angelo, Ares, and I are still playing on there every now and then, and hopefully we'll get others to keep playing too.
Also, I think it was already agreed upon at the last meeting that the next tournament would be CS (or was that CS:S?) in a proper team-oriented double-elimination tournament. |

That was my fault. My attention got drawn elsewhere and put the gaming portion on a semi back-burner and never got back to it.
The next one I believe will be a team one, so we'll need to make it's much more public for sure. -- TSI Rocky - TekSavvy Solutions Inc. |
