The grass valley fire appears to be in Nevada County, Mother Nature is right. But still listening in to Barton Flats

 Those equipment numbers are CDF Region 2 numbers, which is where Grass Valley is.

FYI, the CDF unit number breakdown is:
First number denotes the Region.
Second number denotes the Ranger Unit.
Last two numbers denote the type of unit, as in 6x being a 4WD brush engine, 8x being a conventional brush engine, 4x being a dozer, dozer transport or dozer service unit.
