hi there,

my knowledge in networking is limited but here's my 2 cents.

Assuming your bridges are physical wireless adapters

Why not:

internet - 2 wire modem (bridge mode) - buffalo - bridge on LAN port

::::(wireless signal)::::::

bridge - windows, linux

Or leave the 2wire in bridge mode and attempt for the buffalo to make the pppoe authentication wireless.

would be best if you listed all the wireless equip you're using.
