Funniest Thing You've Ever Seen In the Subway

Was just wondering if anyone else has any crazy/hilarious subway stories?

Funniest thing i read today was about bus service:

"Enduring crush-level crowding and being unable to board jam-packed buses "does not systemically occur" on routes, NYC Transit countered in a statement."

Sorry - but I must editorialize on that last overcrowed bus post..

I'm not an everyday bus rider, but I use them on average of perhaps 5 or 10 times each month, and my daughter relies on them to get to school and work each day. For the past few years I've never had to let a bus pass because it was too full. I could always at the very least squeeze on - more likely than not I got a seat within a few minutes, or reached my destination before it became unbearable.
On the other hand, I witness daily a barrage of dollar vans that clog the bus stops with illegal stops, cause other drivers to veer around them, and who stop with no concern for safety and courtesy - generally making a complete nuisance of themselves. People get on these vans, some with out-of-state license plates, NONE with the city's permission to take non-scheduled street pickups (even those with TLC plates can NOT pick up at bus stops according to the law), with absolutely ZERO second-thought. This causes decreased ridership of the buses, and decreased ridership is supposed to relate directly to decreased SPENDING on the buses. These dollar vans routes didn't occur because of too-few buses - the vans run in the middle of the afternoon when buses like the B41 runs 1/2 empty (and the B-41 is a MAJOR route in Brooklyn - its the Flatbush Ave. bus). These people are just too lazy or in too much of a hurry to wait 5 minutes for the next B41 to arrive - and it DOES run very frequently.

Funniest thing I saw was ME, holding a woman's infant on a morning rush hour ride from HELL this past Fall from Broadway Jct. (ENY) to Port Authority Bus Terminal. She gave me her kid so she could tend to her two other unruly toddlers, who were raising holy terror in a PACKED like sardines morning A train. The baby let loose a load in it's pants, and did you ever try changing a diaper on a 4 mo. old baby while STANDING up at the end of a car with the handle of the door digging in your back? It wasn't pretty, but it was hysterical. One of the other passengers assisted me by holding up, and allowing me to use his briefcase as a "changing table", but it was a comedy of errors that I'll never forget.

I should add that I carried the baby all the way until I got off at 42nd St. The Mom was going all the way up to Washington Heights.

How about a PATH story?

Other than the very regular weekend ritual where the doors open after a particularly brisk and twisty ride and any number of drunk chicks puke right on the platform, I particularly remember one guy that just stepped to the edge of the train door, unzipped, pulled his johnson out, and started pissing on the platform. He was in some kind of a stupor, barely had his eyes open, and I think he thought he'd just walked into his own bathroom or something. This is with a packed train and hundreds of passengers walking past him and people from his own car filing past him.

I haven't been on the PATH in years, but I'm going to assume it's still the same.

Nothing too crazy, I saw a guy and girl get into a huge yelling match the other day, and the girl threw coffee in the dudes face, haha that was pretty funny I guess.

I always see the crazy drunks and musicians and they play some weird things but sometimes they are actually pretty good...

That's horrible. This is why I don't carry a wallet, nor does anyone with a brain in ANY major city.

During the morning rush hour, a packed 6 train pulls into the 86th Street Station.
The doors open and there is no room in the car.
A guy on the platform screams, "I've got to get to a meeting!"
