New Shocks for Sable, how much $?

WALL_E Premium join:2003-05-28 USA	New Shocks for Sable, how much $? The rear shocks on my 2001 Mercury Sable GS are pretty much shot. The rear end sounds like it bottoms out over the slightest bumps when there are passengers in the back seat. How much should I expect to pay for for new shocks and labor? For basic rear struts you're looking at about 2.5 hours work. So, at say $60 an hour at an independent shop, that works out to about $130 to $150 for both. The parts are extra cost, of course. Some retailers may offer you a combo on parts and labour if you buy the parts from them. The front ones are more complicated, thus more expensive on parts and labour and requires an alignment too.
