Re: IP Address Keeps Changing

said by Scoop See Profile :

Mine changes daily with no disconnects. With cable you can go months with the same IP address.
How do you change IP w/o a disconnect?

This seems like bullsh|t to me.

If it changes daily you have a problem that should be looked at.

I can suggest that if you wish a constant IP then we can offer one at $4 a month.

Being that you have a Dynamic IP it will change. On my line it changes all the time, some people may argue that this keeps your connection more secure.

If you feel that you have a line issue though, please feel free to post in the direct forms or call our support...cheers.

K first off, you obviously don't know a troll from your elbow.

2nd, tell me, do you honestly have a magic internet connection that auto-changes your IP w/o a disconnection?

Take TSI James advice and post this in the direct forum.

And next time before you think the truth is a troll, think before you type.

The thing is, that different companies have different systems that will keep your IP for a month before it changes, some are even longer.

It just happens with us that each time a session resets, the IP will most likely change.

I don't think it was trolling as per lack of knowledge...which is cool.

The best thing that you can do if you think it is a line issue is to post on the direct forms or call in.

If anything needs to be settled I say we all play Battlefield : Bad Company.
