| Pain To Cancel DSLX
I've been a DSLX customer for years. Signed up over the web and switched from PACBELL (back then) because of better prices. Recently I moved to a state where DSLX does not offer service, but I have been unable to cancel my account. There is no option to cancel accounts on the DSLX website. I called customer service and was told they do not take cancels by phone - the only way you can cancel is via fax. That's a huge PITA. I signed up over the web, I s/be able to cancel via the web.
Be interested to hear from the DSLX_GM why there is not a cancel option on the website. There is a sign-up option and also an upgrade option, so obviously security is not the reason. I e-mailed "billing" requesting a cancel and all I got was an auto-gen trouble ticket that has a perpetual "pending" status. Been trying to get this done since May. |

| reply to studio1 You have to be logged in to DSLX, but once you are the »www.dslextreme.com/cancel/ link takes you first to this page:
and then to this page after you click "Proceed to Next Step":
Now I didn't click the last button, "Place my Order Now" since I don't want to cancel, but you're saying this process doesn't work?
Also, as a side note the KB article linked to above really should have new images in it since DSLX has updated their look. -- Fold On! |
