Just got my bill from RCN. 21% increase in my monthy charges for CATV and no changes have been made in my service. Just came at the right time too. See yah RCN! |

Just got my new bill in...even worse than that. My PowerCI bill went up almost $25/mo, and since the Internet pricing didn't change, the CATV increase was over 29%. 
Looks like it's time to see what kind of OTA signals are available in the Lehigh Valley, since based on the new bill it appears that additional boxes will be $5.95/mo when the crush comes.
What ever happened to the ala carte concept? There's a whole bunch of junk I could easily do without. |

| Forget OTA in the Lehigh Valley. I switched over to DirecTv and I am really pleased with their service. I signed up on Monday mornibg and at 8:30 AM on Tuesday the DirecTv installer was at work on my system. Lots of HD channels and many different packages to choose from at reasonable prices. As far as the internet goes I switched to Version DSL which is slower but acceptable for my use. RCN tried to retain me but I didn't want to do business with them anymore even if they gave me a special price. |
