The CMTS told the modem to change upstream channels. So the modem complied, disconnecting the connection to the ethernet port, changed to the new upstream channel, found it's previously stored upstream level invalid on the new channel, re-ranged on the new upstream channel, and finally re-enabling the ethernet port.
That would mean multiple upstream channels are available. Either for noise avoidance or for more bandwidth. |

yes, its been doing it quite bit now. Called up time warner, they want to send out a tech. Logs are going nutty, dunno what else to do. speed is badly down as well, getting 5mbps down and 705 up while im suppose to be getting 15/768 |
