Sulfur is a "lubricity" agent. The ULSD fuels have had other lubricity agents added at the refinery. You're not supposed to need additional additives.
If this is not the case, there are a lot of us that are going to descend on the EPA to recover the cost of replacing engines.
Edit: I'm driving a '96 Chevy turbo Diesel w/ no additives other than an occasional "injector cleaner". |
