You more than likely have listened to Click and Clack and their Car Talk program on the radio....
In just 2 days, on Wednesday evening, the animated series "As the Wrench Turns" begins on PBS.
Be sure to check your local listings as my one PBS station only shows it in HD at that time, the analog broadcast is on Sunday morning at 6:30am.
If that isn't enough of a reason, some personal friends and excellent musicians, Brave Combo of Denton, Texas will be doing some music for the show, making it even more enjoyable for me.

Anybody watch this? I thought it was possibly the worst show I have seen recently. Also, it had basically nothing to do with their radio show... |

I've heard the radio show before....most everything they say is BS and rumour type stuff from the 50's and 60's (you know, like clothes pins on the fuel line fix vapor lock....instead of fixing the needle and seat in the carb).
I won't waste my time, I already know the outcome. |

Evidently you haven't listened to the show lately. In any case, the show isn't really about fixing cars.

Yes, this is exactly what PBS would do in primetime animation. They did not disappoint. They are consistent, if nothing else. |

I'm friends with one of their sons, and one of their friends. Will have to ask them what they think of it. From what I understand, this whole thing was the idea of their longtime producer, and he pushed for years to get it made. Sometimes some ideas are better left unrealized, from what it sounds like.
