Fiber optic is a clear wire. Wireless means there is no wire.

If that's what they're going for then they are too cute by half.

My fiber optic is not a clear wire. It has a reflective coating that forces the light to travel along a certain path.

It sounds like you need to do some research on Total Internal Reflection (»en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Total_inte···flection). There isn't a "reflecitve coating" in fiber optic cable.

Semantics. The boundary layer (cladding) reflects the light along a specific path through the core.

Regardless, my main point was that the fiber optic cable (nor the fiber strand(s) inside) is not "clear".
