Why would it provoke anything? They are giving someone the option of using it - that's all. They're not forcing you to pay $50 a month.

If WiMAX was serious as something more than just another cellular wireless network standard, Intel would be force bundling WiMAX years ago as part of its "Centrino" package to establish a user base before service launches.
