<description><![CDATA[<A HREF="/useremail/u/858299"><b>McSummation</b></A> : Sulfur is a "lubricity" agent.  The ULSD fuels have had other lubricity agents added at the refinery.  You're not supposed to need additional additives.<br><br>If this is <b>not </b>the case, there are a <b>lot </b>of us that are going to descend on the EPA to recover the cost of replacing engines.<br><br>Edit: I'm driving a '96 Chevy turbo Diesel w/ no additives other than an occasional "injector cleaner".]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[<A HREF="/useremail/u/0"><b>anon</b></A> : To owners of trucks with Diesel Engines:<br><br>We have a 1999 Dodge Truck with a Cummins Diesel Engine.<br><br>With the advent of the new highway diesel (5ppm sulfur) I am trying to weigh the pros and cons of using an additive to get the sulfur level up. I have heard that the sulfur was beneficial to extend the life of the engine.<br><br>I have seen both sides of the argument where some people use an additive, and then others who do not.<br><br>Do you use an additive to add sulfur back into the fuel?<br>Is there any benefit to adding sulfur (or other additives) to your fuel?<br><br>Thank-You for your replies.]]></description>
