| Will DSL Extreme work with Comcast Digital Voice?
I use to be an ATT Subscriber but I recently switched over to comcast digital voice. Comcast internet has been extremely slow recently during peak hours and frankly I do not have any other options besides DSL.
I was wondering if DSL Extreme will work with my Digital Voice line. Also, I have an alarm system connected to my phone line, will that be an issue? Will I need to purchase another ATT Line specifically for DSL? If everything will work as is, you guys found yourself a new subscriber. Thanks for reading.

| Hi Andrew,
In order to get DSL service from us in AT&T areas, you need to have local phone service through AT&T. Since our service runs over the phone line it will not work with Comcast's digital voice service. You will need to establish a local phone line through AT&T prior to signing up.

| So I've talked to ATT and they said I can get DSL with them without phone service for 40/month. They also said a basic phone line will cost 3-10 dollars, but for me, most likely 10 dollars. If I had a choice, I wouldn't want to get DSL from ATT only because I hate their technical support.
When I put my phone number and address into your website it only offers me the 35/month plan and not the 30/month plan. Is there any way to get the 30/month plan for 6mbit which will make it the same price as ATT's naked dsl prices? |

| If you qualify for the 3000-6000/512-768 plan through AT&T you will qualify for that same plan through DSLExtreme. Since your phone number isn't active the pre-qualification tool is likely showing you the equivalent Covad based option @ $35. You would need to establish local phone service with AT&T. If you take the $29.95 plus the $10 for the local phone line in the end the pricing will be roughly the same, and you will get to take advantage of our support and service.
I would recommend giving our customer service team a call at 800-774-3379 and they can further assist.
