normally when you see windows cannot configure the connection, you have the actual software from the device running the connection. do you have an icon for your adapter that you can open on the desktop or system tray? are you able to disconnect and then try to reconnect, making sure the network key is accurate? for right now, is your tcp/ip properties on automatic obtain for ip and dns?
