[NE] local cox newsgroup missing

Did they drop cox omaha's newsgroup? It's not on the east server anymore, but it's on the west server.

I sent a reply to your PM regarding this but for the benefit of others, I was not able to duplicate this issue. The group is accessible as of this time although there have been no posts in over 1 year.

The west server lists messages from 8-17-06 to 6-7-08. It's the east server that cox community Omaha is not on. I have used the east server ever since the central server was combined with the east and no problems until July 5th.

Ahh, I read the dates wrong. In either case, that group is displaying fine on both west and east for me as well as a beta server I am currently testing. Can you add the group cox.internet.discussion.omaha manually or reload the groups list?

FWIW I am able to access this group on the east server although it is called cox.internet.community.omaha.

Well I just tried the east and what do you know it shows up again.

I think when I had highwinds as part of the server name is when the omaha community went missing.

You're correct, I mis-typed earlier. The correct name for the group is cox.internet.community.omaha.
