That and the LFO was correct, the corporate office can get on the phone with the engineers all they want, but if your loop is too long then aside from running a new line (doubt it) theres not much to be had. If its an issue with the line due to bridge taps, faulty connections, bad splices then theres things that can be done. So beyond that its just pissing into the wind.
I will give you this though,the Door to Door reps do have a nasty habit of bending the truth to make a sale and they dont do any prequalifications it would seem for potential customers. They know the vrad locations and they fan out in a circle and just hammer residents within "reach" regardless.
Also, just FYI, your neighbors may not be on the same equipment or pair bundle as you so im sure 9 out of 10 dentists will agree that they might be able to get the service whereas you cant. Seen that alot of times as well.
