More or less the only difference is the port count (for each of the mentioned 3500 series).
The 3500 series are stackable*, the 2950's arent. So there are "advantages" with using the 3500's vs the 2950's.
* but not the same sort of stacking you find in the 3750 series
Personally I find the 2950's much nicer.
The 3500's also dont seem to have any copper gigabit ports. You need to go up a step to the 3550-12G/T, and even then you will only get 2 or 10 depending on the model. |
