If I have an HD cable box connected to an analog tv, should the HD channels work? |

| reply to jeffnyc said by jeffnyc :Is HDNet supposed to be included at no additional charge? In NYC this is part of a 3 channel package costing $9.95. The package is called: HDXtra Incl. MOJO, HDNet and HDNet Movies
What a joke for just 3 channels, should be more included. |

| Hmm. Here in Socal that package is $5 and has 4 channels. It also includes HDMusic.
Nevertheless you should be able to get the regular HD channels, like the mainstream networks ABC, CBS, NBC etc and a few other channels included with your digital cable. |

| reply to jeffnyc I am in NYC. When I first got the new HD box HDNet was working but my Cinemax OnDemand (which I pay for) was not. When they fixed the Cin OD, I think the HDNet went away.
Anyway, the normal HD channels work, like AnimalHD |

| reply to jeffnyc If you just have a standard definition box, those channels will tell you that you are not subscribed. But an HD capable box with standard def outputs like coax, s-video, or composite WILL show those channels and display them on a standard def tv.
The HD box doesn't cost extra and, like others have stated, only a few channels like HDnet are on the extra $5/mo tier. All the other HD channels are included at no cost as part of the basic digital package. -- I swear, some people should have pace-makers installed to free up the resources.
