| Differance between 3500 series switches
I have been doing some searching, but figured someone here would know best.
Is the C3512, C3524 and C3548 essentially the same switch, just more or less ports?
And or is the C2950 a better switch overall or are we talking oranges to apples between the 2950 and 3500 series?
I"m assuming so, but having a little troulbe finding the right tech docs to assure me of this.
Thanks to anyone who can assist. =) |

| More or less the only difference is the port count (for each of the mentioned 3500 series).
The 3500 series are stackable*, the 2950's arent. So there are "advantages" with using the 3500's vs the 2950's.
* but not the same sort of stacking you find in the 3750 series
Personally I find the 2950's much nicer.
The 3500's also dont seem to have any copper gigabit ports. You need to go up a step to the 3550-12G/T, and even then you will only get 2 or 10 depending on the model. |
