And why does ATT say I can get 1500/3000 through them because if ATT is capping DSLE then I would call that a violation of antitrust laws.

Without seeing the order I'd say that was your cap which ASI set and your ISP. They say you can "get it" doesn't mean you'll be able to retain it and it will stable. Next time the tech comes out you should ask him/her that. Antitrust laws? Say what? The work order is going to show the plan you are on it is not going to show what the line can handle. You were offered the 1500-3000/512 Back when the 3000-6000 order was rejected and you refused and are refusing again when George offered to get you that speed. The truth is that no matter what the telephone company tells us; the distance to the CO (or in your case RT) is always the same regardless of who the provider is. Because the line is being restricted do to your distance from the equipment you cannot get a speed with ATT that you cannot get with us. -- Zak Tech Support DSLExtreme
