 Thank You from CTEL GUY!

Let's try this again...

I work in CenturyTel Marketing. I do not and have no business addressing the technical issues of our customers. Like Dirty Harry said, "A man's got to know his limitations."

I am relieved that we have great tech savvy employees like dsldude08 who are happy to help, mostly on their own time. I am pleased to see that dsldude once again saved the day and helped solve an issue for yet another one of our customers. Thank you to him and to all who take their time to assist CenturyTel’s customers in this forum.

I would also like to say Thank You to all CenturyTel customers, disgruntled or otherwise. It is and has always been our goal to give our customers the best possible service at the best possible price, delivered by knowledgeable, caring professionals. Are we or any company for that matter batting a thousand in regards to that goal? No we are not, but we are trying. Our roots are in the greatly underserved rural markets of America, covering 25 states. Places where Big Cable and the Fios's of the world do not exist. Equipping everyone to take advantage of all the 2008 and beyond world has to offer is not easy. We aren't in it for easy, we are in it to help others, folks just like ourselves.

CenturyTel is built upon certain principles, our Unifying Principles, which represent the cornerstone of its foundation. The Unifying Principles are:
• Fairness – The Golden Rule
• Honesty and Integrity
• Commitment to Excellence
• Positive Attitude
• Respect
• Faith
• Perseverance

Please continue to use this site as a resource. I am confident that you will continue to find many of the answers that you need by utilizing the capable CenturyTel employees and customers that populate this forum. I commend your persistence and patience to find a solution when every other option lets you down.

Enjoy your 4th of July! Hopefully this will be a great time filled with family, friends, and copious amounts of grillin & chillin. As a veteran I ask that you not forget the heroic men and women who gave all they had to help secure the independence of this great Country. Honor them in your celebration and remember in your prayers those who serve today. God bless them and their families this holiday weekend. Thank you for your time.
