| Shaw Tech support - help with "107 - We have detected an err
I got connected this afternoon but somehow every time I went to Online Customer Care "Shaw's Internet Services" trying to create new email add, I got this message:
"107 - We have detected an error in this transaction. We are working on resolving this issue. Your transaction has not been completed. Please try again soon. Thank you."
I could access all other items/services under the Online Customer Care except the above "Shaw's Internet Service", how come?
Thanks in advance and best regards.
P/s I called several times 604-629-4000, but tech support kept telling me everything "OK"??? |

| sounds like an issue on their end... just wait it out try again tomorrow, or have the one of the phone techs create the account for you if you still cant get in.
i dont know if this site is still works but when i worked for Shaw i used the create.shaw.ca address to create user's email accounts. you can give that a try. |

| reply to MJ_24 It's an issue with the Online Customer Care's interaction with Shaw's internal servers, and is definitely widespread. If you want to prove it to them, get them to try logging in themselves.
When speaking with them, you can also get them to create an email address for you, as direct interaction with the appropriate server seems to be working without issue. Alternatively, it should be corrected on its own, so you can just wait. :P |

Thanks for the help, create.shaw.ca is also giving me the same error message and it's interesting that when I gave the tech support my user ID/pw, he could access the "Shaw's Internet Services" and create email A/C, lol.
Judging from the above, I'm pretty sure you guys are 100% right that "sounds like an issue on their end" and "It's an issue with the Online Customer Care's interaction with Shaw's internal servers".
Regards. |
