| QAM channels showing up clear but not on lineup
In Indiana, PA we have TONS of HD channels showing up in the clear on QAM channels... yet comcast claims we dont have them... these include
AMCHD
DisneyHD
TLCHD
Science Channel HD
Family Channel HD
Weather Channel HD
FX HD
Animal Planet HD
Fox Business HD
CNBC HD
AdultHD
WGN-HD
CW-HD
and a few more I haven't figured out what they are yet... there is littearly 23 HD channels in the clear on QAM channels that the comcast boxes dont even show as available channels... we already have 36 HD channels showing up on our boxes right now... so 59 HD channels all together on our network right now... |

Very strange...you guys must be getting a lot of channels soon then. They just haven't updated and pushed out the new channel maps.

| Interesting, is that the channel number in the lower left? 2023 for ABC Family, 2024 for Science HD? Why does it say 2024 Science HD but show a TLC HD logo in the one corner?
Interesting enough the SID from Hits is "23" for ABC Family and "24" for Science HD.
I just checked my ABC Family, Science HD, Disney HD mux and it's encrypted as always.
What else is muxed with AMC HD? I don't see a hits package, but I do see it's available at Galaxy 14 125 degrees W. Transponder 2. |

as for what is also on the AMC QAM... nothing that I can see... there is 2 other channels, but I can't tune them to find out |

WRONG - we got WGN-HD on most, if not ALL the Comcast systems they took over from Insight at the first of the year, when they added about 20 new HD's a couple months ago...& I assure you it had NOTHING to do with Insight, since Insight had stopped any more HD additions for us several months before THAT!
Of course, this IS Cubs country around here, so it's not that much of a surprise - they also added CSN HD-Chicago at the same time, but also DROPPED FSN HD-Midwest, which of course pissed off some Cards HD viewers.  |

Well, what needs to be clarified by the OP is whether it's WGN-HD (the local version for Chicago) or WGN America-HD (the superstation). |
