My wife recently ordered a "Fireman Sam" item from Amazon for my 4 year old son. I got an email today that the item was preordered, and that the price dropped since we preordered. They refunded the price difference. I didn't even expect that. Thank you Amazon!! Here's the text of the email.

Even on completed orders you get 30 days price adjustments should the price lower. Of course you need to call them and ask for the adjustment, but it's still very easy to do. Amazon has been a great place to buy from. |

| The automation in price adjustment was the part that made it impressive for me. If I would have contacted Amazon to have the price adjusted, I wouldn't have given it a second thought if they adjusted the price, but when they did it on their own makes it impressive. |

Since Amazon does not process payment until the item ships, you only pay the price on the day it ships.
I pre-ordered a DVD 2 months ago and the price dropped once and then increased as release date arrived. I paid the lowest price between my pre-order and the ship date. |
