I also use Skype and ever since the "upgrades" the voice quality is terrible.

Things wouldn't be bad if the latency remained constant.
Using a latency monitor, my latency starts out higher than it use to be and teeters up and down between 150ms and 400ms. A tech that visits these forums said they were doing upgrades. Well since the upgrades my latencies have been higher than normal and they fluctuate up and down. The main thing is that when I get home from work and turn on my pc I have to release and renew my ip for my internet to work. Both of these issues started after the upgrades.
