| If you love automobiles and had 2 million laying around
You could buy this. Damn, this is so awesome..not just the climate controlled car storage but the house and private acres of land....
I wish I didn't see this at eBay as now I can't stop thinking of this place...in one very nice place in Florida.
Damn.

| Be nice if it did. I honestly feel 2 million is a good price..Its rare property, Sarasota is nice, the house is nice, the pool etc...Sounds like I am trying to convince myself to sell everything I own here in NY and head for Sarasota. I always liked that place.
But they don't have Optimum Online in Sarasota |

Down here in SFL you can't get anything close to what that property is for $2 mil. |

I'm with you..Unless there is something not being told about the place, it is no doubt an excellent price..I just like everything about it..where it is located, the house itself and the pool area, the car area...If there was a way to buy that I would even rent out space for auto enthusiasts to store their vehicles...The owner of this place I believe is a Florida licensed auto dealer...
BTW, how are things in Hollywood now a days?...I've spent a lot of time in that area years ago and always enjoyed it..rented a place near the circle...liked Hollywood beach as well...Good times. |

Yep totally agree. The layout & everything else really is a nice property.
I'd for sure offer it up to buddies if they wanted to house their cars there. We have one collector car that's at my folks place in Baltimore and I'd love to have somewhere to work on it down here. Just not all that feasible with our stock tiny garages.
Man what I could do with that thing.

Well...we are actually west in Pembroke Pines. The dang zip code thing, they won't give us our own for PPines so it always comes up Hollywood.
But anyway, Hollywood itself is good except that the housing market down here sucks wind thanks to all the flipper idiots who are now stuck in what they bought. There's been so much development down here up till 2005-2006 it was crazy.
Right now we're getting thunderstorms pretty well every day, not much of clear days here in the last few weeks.
Otherwise, it's SoFlo baby...it is what it is. -- TheGlobalMind.com | Speed costs money. How fast do you want to go? | Trust the instinct to the end, though you can render no reason. Ralph Waldo Emerson

I pay $10G a year in taxes here on long island for shit. My brother pays $24G for a modest home here on Long Island too, I dont think Florida is any worse at ALL! -- See you in Villains |

| reply to sailor Read the add more carefully... the _house_ is 4200 sq feet. It's the shed/garage that accounts for the rest. Also, don't plan in using any of the other 4 acres, I'm sure it's jungle and swamp.
I sold my house in Tampa just about a year ago and prices were starting to take a dive then. While Sarasota is nice... over the past 10 years it grew from nothing to a huge sprawling city. I think the recent housing trend is really affecting it like a stretched rubber band.
(I could remember visiting my grandmothers place Siesta Key 35 years ago. Things have changed since then. |

| That house is more than enough for me...And the other 4 acres just affords privacy which is important to me..
For comparison, here is what $2 Million gets me around here.
