Des Plaines, IL | At the end of the month wow is dumping tv guide and is moving 3 channels + PPV and Premium Channels to digital in the Chicago area so that should free room for more HD. |

We have AT&T instead. It seems like whatever areas Verizon is expanding too are the areas that AT&T are staying away from and vice versa. |

Running fiber to the home and setting up cell towers are quite different. We are talking hundreds of thousands to setup a neighborhood while a single cell tower can easily cover 10 miles in each direction in the same area at the same price. |

AT&T has got here first. I highly doubt Verizon will come here although I wish they would. You should e-mail them and ask them if they plan on expanding their network into the Chicago area and suburbs. |
