| Verizon vs. WOW in Indiana
I don't live in Indiana, but its been confirmed that Verizon FIOS has added 15 additional HD channels in Indiana and will add a few more very soon in those markets. I'm not sure what parts or if its in an area where WOW has service too, but if it is, it may force WOW to add more HD channels sometime soon. Well, at least in that market anyway.

Des Plaines, IL | At the end of the month wow is dumping tv guide and is moving 3 channels + PPV and Premium Channels to digital in the Chicago area so that should free room for more HD. |

We have AT&T instead. It seems like whatever areas Verizon is expanding too are the areas that AT&T are staying away from and vice versa. |

Obviously a wealthier area almost guarantees you service as the providers like to cherry pick. FIOS will never in your lifetime be available in Chicago or in the Chicagoland area. |

Running fiber to the home and setting up cell towers are quite different. We are talking hundreds of thousands to setup a neighborhood while a single cell tower can easily cover 10 miles in each direction in the same area at the same price. |
