Anyone else having problems with Cox Spamblocker? For the last few days it is not tagging spam with the --spam-- tag. |

| The spamblocker is bunk. Funny that Outlook's filter is better. So much stuff gets through that is obviously spam and many of it obviously dictionary attacks.
But I guess I didn't answer your question. Don't know, I have it set to discard, not append the Spam header.
Guess I just wanted to vent. |

| agreed, their spam filters need to improve and i gave them several tag lines to look for in the subject.
still see the occasional canadian pharmacy and viagara (spelled correctly) get past.
(which does not belong in our inboxes) sometimes i wish it would be illegal for big pharma to advertize this stuff to the general public and only to doctors to discuss with their patients.

| reply to salp If spam is getting through and not being tagged as --spam-- in the subject line if you have it set to do so this would suggest our spam blocker doens't know it is happening. The first step to resolve this is to send it to spamreport@cox.net (as an attachment if using an email client). If you are using webmail just put a check in the boxes next to the appropriate messages and click the Spam button. |

I remember you mentioning this in another SPAM thread also. If your still getting it after notifying Cox maybe it is legitimate email. Could a friend or family member be trying to help you? |

Upon further testing it looks like that all the spam is getting deleted at the server. Even though I have it checked on all my accounts to tag it and send it to me.
Who should I email or call to get this checked out? |
