I'll post it here where everything isn't mandated to be sweetness and light. And there's a So Cal tie-in to this story..... they shipped at least 5 of these rotten little drug dealing 3rd world border jumpers to Yucaipa (which is just a few miles East of me), where they promptly escaped. Thank you Frisco. We're so happy you've designated yourself a sanctuary for illegal alien drug dealers. Do you have anything else you'd like to send down here to San Bernardino County, like maybe a truck load of plague infested rats?
8 crack dealers shielded by S.F. walk away
An effort by San Francisco to shield eight young Honduran crack dealers from federal immigration officials backfired when the youths escaped from Southern California group homes within days of their arrival, officials said Monday.
The walkaways are the latest in a string of embarrassments for city officials who are protecting illegal-immigrant drug dealers from federal authorities and possible deportation because of San Francisco's 1989 declaration that the city is a sanctuary for undocumented immigrants.

| reply to No_Strings the last time we tried for two states was in 1977 I think, but the north realized that they had no tax base, not even with Frisco in the mix and it would be even a bigger problem today. The tax base is in the south.
Frisco needs to held to Federal Standards. Hell I would cut off all federal funding just because of there attitude towards R0TC and the Military. |

| Like that's ever going to happen. In my world, it would. Too many "upstanding citizens" making money off the illegal drug trade.
But, practicing safe border sex would also greatly aid in keeping ONC* off our dirt.

| reply to MotherNature No shocker there, Gavin Newsom pretty much flaunts the law of CA, look at the gay marriage issue, though we plan to fix that this November. It's a shame, SF and the Bay Area are so beautiful, but are currently plagued by a huge thorn by the name of Gavin, it's time to pluck it out. As a Democrat, I also think he should have his membership revoked, maybe he and Ylen could join the "Flaunt the law" party
All this pales in comparison though to the nuttiness of Berzerkley and Marin County, don't even get me started on those two. |

And before anyone points this out, I"m entertaining a career move that could move me back to California. If it does, you can be damn sure I'll be there in time to register and vote down ANYTHING that voids gay marriage. Marriage is NOT a religious state, it is a civil contract. |

| And civil rights can't be mandated by the voters. If that was the way things worked, civil rights for, say, blacks would have been a ballot issue. It can't be, and never will be.
My suggestion to people like Mike, move to Utah if civil rights for gays offends your sensibilities/religious precepts. -- It's not nice to fool Mother Nature. |

| reply to MotherNature This has nothing to do with civil rights, and everything to do with the destruction of a sacred ordinance, marriage. If they want gay marriage, they can do it, but don't ask me or the MAJORITY of Californian's to support it, because we don't, and because of 4 VERY wrong judges, the amendment that was passed was invalidated just like that.
Cap, I don't think I should have to move anywhere, this is my state as much as anybody's, telling someone to move just because they disagree with something smacks of political propaganda. |

| reply to MotherNature I don't believe the way I do for a popularity contest, so having people look down on me is nothing new. I was brought up to love all men, that includes those that disagree or are completely opposite of me, the entire gospel is centered around love for ALL Men, but at the same time that does not mean I will allow this destruction of a sacred ordinance upon which society is built to be turned into a mockery. I'm just curious, those of you with kids, do you disagree with anything they do or say? Does that make you hateful or bigoted of them? Of course not, you continue to love them, well, that's how it is with this.

| reply to RR Conductor You don't have to support it, you have to live with it. Just like the KKK types have to live with no more back of the bus, no more separate drinking fountains, and no more WHITES ONLY signs on hotels and restaurants.
And don't even throw that "sacred ordinance of marriage destruction" stuff at me when the hetero couple divorce rate is as high as it is. The heteros are managing to destroy whatever you religious people think is sacred about marriage without any help from the evil faggots. -- It's not nice to fool Mother Nature. |

| reply to RR Conductor said by RR Conductor :This has nothing to do with civil rights, and everything to do with the destruction of a sacred ordinance, marriage. That's just it. You're wanting to unconstitutionally force religious tenets on millions who do not subscribe to those same beliefs. You can cling to your convictions, encourage others to adopt them or preach them to any who will listen. They are, in the end though, religious tenets that have no place being mandated on a secular society - majority opinion or not.
Eventually, even Utah will conform I predict. |

| reply to RR Conductor Marriage is not a religious institution. It is a civil contract.
If it were a religious institution, then why is it that the religious right doesn't get upset if atheists marry?
AND more importantly, why is it that religious ceremonies are NOT recognized, without a civil ceremony or a civil certificate? And yes, that is a fact. My dad performed a civil marriage ceremony for a family member in California that had EXTREMELY specific steps for the civil part, or is wasn't VALID.
You claim to hate no one, and you say you have gay friends. Why are they not entitled to the same CIVIL rights are you are?
As for how you believe, I respect the fact that you have different beliefs than I do, and you're entitled to them. Why do you not accept the same of me, and of others? And before you say you do accept others, look at how you're wording your responses. You phrase them as if it's a something you put up with, as if it's something that is a black mark on them.....oh wait, you do think that, don't you. Tell me, do you think the same of Dr. King and his words?
I do believe in God, but this is exactly the reason I walked away from organized religion so long ago. You say you love your fellow man, but you can't see past the fact they are gay. If you did, there would be no "but......."

Read it if you want to (unless you're afraid it will "brainwash" you or something), or attack it, it matters not, it's how we feel and it will not change just because it not "popular" or "pc" with the world's views at the moment. |
