Couple of things here:

1) Who severed "All phone, internet and TV connections"? If these were via other providers, then more fool you for cancelling service before the new one was proven up and running. If via AT&T (phone and internet), then yes, they shouldn't leave you high and dry and should have at least put you back to where you were.

2) How are you online now? You show up as via comcast.net.
